January 11, 2019The Nest at TreeHouse Point

The Nest at TreeHouse Point is an ultra-cozy retreat. Tucked in soaring cedar and spruce trees, the Nest holds a lavish queen-sized bed, two reading chairs, and ample bird-themed artwork. The interior space is extended by the deck, which overlooks the resort’s tranquil ponds.

You can book your stay in the Nest at treehousepoint.com/lodging.

Pete and the crew built the Nest in 2010. It remains the only bird-themed treehouse at the resort—Pete and Judy couldn’t resist creating one homage to nests!

Guests can soak in views of the TreeHouse Point’s pond from the wide wall of windows and spacious deck.

The forest at TreeHouse Point is incredibly lush—sword ferns cover the ground and soft moss swathes branches.

The Nest rises nine feet above the forest floor.

The Upper Pond treehouse is the Nest’s closest neighbor. Also near the Nest: the resort’s spa-like bathhouses.

Our crew recently refreshed the staircase with new railings.

An outhouse complete with a composting toilet lies outside the front door.

The interior is cozily compact, with enough space for a queen-sized bed, reading nook, and coffee corner.

A wall of windows grants guests sweeping views of the forest.

Outside on the deck, guests can gaze at the Upper Pond treehouse. They can also spot the Pond Room, a multipurpose space that hosts special events and restorative fitness classes like yoga and Tai chi.

Like all the treehouses at TreeHouse Point, the Nest stays bright and warm with electric lighting and heat.
