Today, we’re excited to officially celebrate the grand opening of the Kalahari Adventure Treehouses at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions.
This project has been years in the making, and seeing these treehouses completed and ready to welcome guests is a huge milestone for our team.
Designed in partnership with Kalahari Resorts, these treehouses offer a completely new way to experience Wisconsin Dells. Tucked among the trees along the lake, each treehouse was thoughtfully designed with its own unique layout, personality, and view. No two stays are exactly alike.
Inside, guests will find warm wood interiors, cozy gathering spaces, kitchenettes, screened porches, and modern comforts that still feel connected to nature.
Even though these are post-supported structures, our goal from the very beginning was to create the feeling of being truly up in the trees.
What makes this collaboration even more meaningful is that Kalahari Resorts is also family-run and yes, they’re Nelsons too. Partnering with another family business that values hospitality, creativity, and experience-driven design made this project feel special from day one.
This grand opening marks the completion of Phase One, with more treehouses already underway and future developments planned for additional Kalahari locations nationwide.
From the first framing day to the final finishing touches, this project has been powered by an incredible crew, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a shared vision to bring more people into the trees.
