Sprawling within a lush grove of cypress trees, with a magical creek gently babbling beneath, the Cypress Mansion is a tree-mendous marvel and officially the biggest treehouse we’ve ever built, measuring an impressive 2,400 square feet interior with 1,600 square feet deck total!
Located in the scenic Texas Hill Country, visiting Cypress Mansion feels like stepping into another world, one where lemurs lounge in the treetops and antelope roam below. The interior is equally unique, thoughtfully designed with striking decor and attention to detail.
Our clients dreamed of a luxurious, full-time home nestled among the trees. Pete Nelson’s design is supported by 12 sturdy cypress trees and our hefty hardware including: custom hardware, Treehouse Attachment Bolts, Dynamic Uplift Arrestors, Cable Back Up’s and posts to help support the weight.
The spacious single-story treehouse, clad in salvaged western red cedar board and batten, blends beautifully with its natural surroundings, reflecting our dedication to quality craftsmanship.
Guests can enter via a ramp from the cliff’s edge or a staircase and walkway from the valley below.
Once inside, a unique glass floor panel provides a clear view of the creek flowing beneath the treehouse.
An ample living and dining area with expansive Marvin Windows offering stunning views of the canopy and creek below.
A cozy fireplace anchors the room, alongside a beautiful dining table.
The living area opens onto a screened porch, perfect for enjoying peaceful evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, warm wood cabinetry, and a central island ideal for casual meals or socializing.
Cathedral windows allow natural light to highlight the reclaimed fir ceiling and reclaimed Hem Fir walls.
The primary bedroom provides a relaxing retreat, featuring large windows that showcase the natural beauty outside.
A private deck with an outdoor sauna adds a touch of luxury to this serene space.
The primary bathroom includes a steam shower with a bench and dual shower heads, double vanity sinks, and access to another private deck featuring a relaxing hot tub.
A comfortable guest bedroom and adjoining guest bathroom with a clawfoot tub ensure guests feel at home.
Cypress Mansion offers five inviting decks totalling 1,600 square feet to soak in nature, each thoughtfully designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
From lounging under the branches of a cypress tree on the deck off the living room to the private decks with a sauna and hot tub, each outdoor space enhances the experience of treehouse living.
If you’re lucky, you might even catch sight of a giraffe or antelope gently loping through the landscape below.
A convenient utility room equipped with a washer, dryer, and sink provides practical comforts for everyday living.
Cypress Mansion marks a significant milestone as our biggest treehouse ever, perfectly blending comfort and luxury with the beauty of nature. We’re thrilled to share this extraordinary home in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
