February 27, 2020Treehouse Spotlight: The Woods Maine

The Woods Maine treehouse was made to celebrate a special part of Maine reserved for those willing to explore beyond traditional getaways. Designed by Pete Nelson and built by our team at Nelson Treehouse & Supply, every detail has been thoughtfully selected to create a space you’ll enter and never want to leave. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in the trees – whitewashed barn wood, a full kitchen with luxury appliances, cozy eating nook, elegant brass fixtures, and expansive window views. The Woods Maine brings together the best of rustic and refined.

Pete and the crew built The Woods Maine in 2019. Elevated amidst a lush canopy in Norway, Maine, this high-end treehouse immerses you in the fresh mountain air, pristine lakes, and vibrant, changing seasons.

Guests can explore the local towns and best-kept secrets, step away from the bustle and the guide books and become a part of the lasting spirit of adventure. Or they can decide to just lay low at the treehouse and enjoy the privately owned 10 acres with access to Lake Pennesseewassee.

The Woods Maine is located in beautiful Norway, Maine, tucked away from the coast in a rustic, woodsy, good-vibes-only kind of place. The local town has a good variety of everyday needs and exciting attractions.

The treehouse exterior siding is Cedar board and batten.

Take your coat off and stay a while.

A stylish, tiled “mud room” with a custom built boot and coat rack awaits your arrival.
